Green Sergeant’s Covered Bridge

Green Sergeant’s Covered Bridge

I took these pictures late last month (January, 2011) just after we had a huge snow storm. That explains why there is snow all around and in the bridge. New Jersey only has this one historic covered bridge, and it is not so historic considering it now sits on steel I-beams after being rebuilt the last time. But it looks like a historic covered bridge. And many of its parts are historic. But wood does not support the infrastructure like a covered bridge should. Below are some pictures of the bridge. CLICK HERE to get directions to the bridge.
