I have six different ride locations I have mapped rides for in this blog: Princeton, Washington Crossing, Cranbury, Hightstown, Crosswicks, Hillsborough, Ringoes, and Bulls Island. Of these there are two ride locations that are a hike for me to get to: Crosswicks (20 miles) and Bulls Island (26 miles). I included Bulls Island because rides from that location are my favorites to ride. There are lots of hills, lots of good scenery, and a fair number of historic covered bridges. But will many club members of Princeton Freewheelers go on group rides from Bulls Island? I don’t know. And I doubt I ever will go on a group ride out of Crosswicks. But one never knows!

I have added a ride location at Canal Park which is in Pennsylvania and just north of New Hope. I have a feeling more PFW club members will be inclined to go for rides from New Hope than would go for rides from Bulls Island.  For directions to the park CLICK HERE to see a map that starts on the Lambertville/New Hope bridge that crosses the Delaware. From the center point in the bridge it is about 1.5 miles up River Road (Route 32) to Canal Park. As far as I can tell there is ample parking in the park for group bike rides. And there are a ton of neat rides to be had that depart from the park. I figure all the rides I will create and post in this blog that depart from Canal Park will stay in Pennsylvania and Bucks County. There will be no crossing the river into NJ.
