These two reststops can be found on Route 206 in Hillsborough which is north of Princeton. Both are ideal for a great number of bike rides departing from Princeton. You can head out toward Rocky Hill and plan to hit one of these reststops. You can head out the Great Road into Skillman and plan to hit one of these reststops. Or you can go into the Sourland Mountain range and plan to hit these reststops. If you stay to the east and hug Canal Road in some fashion, then you will more than likely want to hit the Quick Chek. And if you are doing the Sourlands, then you will probably want to hit the Deli.

At this time when I am writing this blog post there is construction on Hillsborough Road just east of the Deli. Bikes can cross the railroad bridge, but probably not when the construction crew is out and about. However, Route 206 has a nice shoulder near the Deli and its safe to ride up Route 206 to Homestead Road to circumvent Hillsborough Road.

On the image above you might notice the little green cyclist icon. Did you? That icon represents the Hillsborough Bike Ride meeting place for various rides I have listed in this blog.
