Saturday Morning PFW B Ride: 37.5 miles

Saturday Morning PFW B Ride: 37.5 miles

This was my last Saturday ride for a while that I’m slated to lead. It was sunny, cool, and windy this morning. But not so cold that I had to wear booties and fingered gloves. I had two takers for the ride: Alex V and Fouad S. I showed up with my old steel road bike and had warned that there would be a hill or two in the ride. During the ride we stopped off at Fouad’s house to get a water bottle for him. I don’t turn off my Garmin, so the stops we made during the ride pulled down the average pace of the ride. We passed quite a number of cyclists on the road today. There was an organized ride going through the Sourlands when we were there. Quite a large group. And there was a C+ ad hoc club ride gathering at Community Park North when we departed on our ride. It was comprised mostly of women. CLICK HERE to see today’s route. Ride Sheet #12.
