Sunday Morning Club B Ride: 51 miles

Sunday Morning Club B Ride: 51 miles

Mothers’ Day! Raining and wet at 7 AM. But the ride went off at 9 AM from Pralsville Mill just north of Stockton. Turned out to be a beautiful day for a ride, yet a bit windy. Jimmy M was the leader, and also along was me, Larry H, Andrew T, Tom, Gil, and Lori. Andrew and Gil were a little slow to start, and had to catch up to us by Route 12. Lori wasn’t into the pace, so turned back at Route 519. Larry and I just plugged along, but didn’t really stand out. The rest stop was in Milford by the river. I was tiring toward the end definitely. My bike’s gearing is not all that conducive to climbing hill after hill. CLICK HERE to see the route. And of note, we hit four historic covered bridges on today’s ride: Seargeantsville Bridge, Erwinna Bridge, Frankenford Bridge, and Cabin Run Bridge. The first one was in NJ, and the last three were in PA.
