Sunday All-Day Solo Ride: 92 miles
I’ve accepted admittance in a Cycling Group Challenge for 2015. The rules to the Challenge are simple. At least simple to explain. Record one continuous ride of 100 km or more in every month of 2015. Oh yeah, the rides have to be outdoors on the roads and/or trails. No indoor trainer rides count. So I noticed last week that today was supposed to be wet and have a high temp in the low 60s. Drove up to my fitness club in Rocky Hill and started riding at 8:30. I had to dress for the rain or I wouldn’t have been able to do the miles. By 2 PM the weather was much better. I took a break for 30 minutes and then headed out for a 26.6 mile loop. CLICK HERE to see the route.
