Sunday Morning Solo Ride: 64.5 miles

Sunday Morning Solo Ride: 64.5 miles

I haven’t done much riding for a few days. Yesterday I went to Trexlertown (PA) to ride the Saturday morning fun races at the velodrome. Ended up 7th in the Masters competition. Not bad I suppose since I haven’t been on a track for over 25 years. My thighs were hurting this morning. Not heavy, but hurting! I had fun, though. Needed to spin my legs off this morning. Decided to turn the spin into a metric century so my buddies in the 2015 Metric Challenge don’t catch me too quickly in our little competition. Two of the guys did a double metric yesterday which brought them up to 19 metrics each for the year. I’m now shaking in my cycling shoes!! Today’s ride was only my 38th. 🙂
