Wednesday Morning Solo Ride: 64 miles

Wednesday Morning Solo Ride: 64 miles

What a beautiful morning for a bike ride. I got out on the road around 5:50, and was just wearing shorts, an undershirt and a cycling jersey to keep warm. Felt great! Had the CX bike again. I had plans to do yet another ride that included at least some towpath. Achieved the goal. For the first 15 miles or so I was in my element. However, after that I was in experimental territory regarding the roads I was taking. I’m not very familiar with the roads on the other side of Cranbury, Monroe Twp, Englishtown, and Manalapan. Worked out OK I guess since I was using a Garmin device that was telling me when to go straight and when to turn. The ride started to get a little warm after 8:30. But soon I was in the shade along the towpath and the golf course in Princeton. CLICK HERE to see the route.
