Wednesday Morning Solo Ride: 72 miles

Wednesday Morning Solo Ride: 72 miles

I had mapped out a ride in RWGPS a few days ago that I planned to do this morning. I was going to head out Canal Road and head up past Bound Brook. All was going well this morning until my Garmin Edge GPS device went haywire. And I didn’t know the route all that well as it went into Sayerville, etc. So I had to improvise. At one point I paused my other Garmin device that I use to track the ride, so I could tinker with the Edge device. Then I forgot to turn it back on. So I added 5 miles to the eventual map readout. I left around 6 and the temp was nice. It was also pretty foggy. It wasn’t until I got to Cranbury that the fog burned off. And it wasn’t until the last 30 minutes that it got pretty warm out. Today is supposed to be real hot. I’m glad I got the ride done when I did. CLICK HERE to see the route. I was riding my CX bike again.
