Friday Double Metric Bike Ride: 140 miles

Friday Double Metric Bike Ride: 140 miles

Pretty good day for a bike ride. I took a train up to NYC and did some loops around Central Park before heading up to the George Washington Bridge to cross back over to NJ and home. The weather was great in the morning. Not too cool, but not too hot. But by the time I got up to the GW bridge it was up in the low 80s. Actually not too bad for a single metric, but I would have liked the ride better if it had not gotten so warm in the afternoon. Had to do a few hills in northern NJ before getting to Bound Brook. I’d never ridden from NYC to Princeton before. Passed Seton Hall University along the way. CLICK HERE to see the route.
