Training for One vs the Other

The difference in training for an Olympic distance triathlon and a 70.3 Ironman event.

FN: The older we get the more practical the Olympic distance event seems. The older athlete must do more higher intensity (thus shorter) workouts in order to trigger human growth hormone and testosterone. This does not leave much room (time) for long endurance workouts necessary to be competitive in half and full Ironman events.
