Speed Workouts for Runners

Don’t confuse a workout that focuses on improving leg speed with a workout that focuses on improving running speed. The former are  typically shorter than the latter. Leg speed sprints last 20 seconds. Speed workouts typically are not sprints since they last between 1 and 6 minutes before rest and repeats.
