High Fructose Corn Syrup
This stuff is really bad for you. Avoid it like the plague. Check the labels on the foods you buy at the supermarket. Sodas are loaded with it. Ice creams are loaded with it. So are a lot of other “junk foods.” If you don’t know what junk food is, then check the label and see if high fructose corn syrup is a key ingredient on the label. If it is, then you have found a junk food. Cheap sugary foods will have high fructose corn syrup. Expensive sugary foods will have cane sugar. If you have to have sugar in your food, then go with cane sugar. Also, if you see “maltodextrin,” or just “fructose” or “corn sugar” on the food label, then consider that to mean HFCS.
