PFW B+ September Picnic Ride

PFW B+ September Picnic Ride

Today was the Princeton Freewheelers annual all-paces Fall picnic ride. I volunteered to lead the B+ ride and had 19 participants plus myself. Really nice group of cyclists. For most of the ride we were doing 20-22 mph. But when the group split we regrouped soon thereafter. There were no poor bike-handlers that I was aware of. And I seemed to get along with everyone even though I haven’t done much leading of rides of late. We had a couple of flat tires, and one mechanical, but still finished the 50 miles in 3 hours with a 15-minute break at a Wawa at mile 30. Of course, it was a lovely day for a ride. The temp was right, the roads were right, and the course was good. Click on the map below to see the route at RWGPS.
