March is a Hassle
March is the month in the year when cyclists who want to get a jump-start on their fitness level need to get out and ride as much as possible. It’s the month when most cyclists need to get their legs back in the swing of pedaling again after several months of winter that made riding the roads difficult or impossible. March is the month that provides some nice days to go for bike rides, many days that are not so nice, and typically cold days so you can’t go for a ride at just any time you want. You’ll want to time the start of your ride so you’ll get to enjoy the warmest part of the day.
So March isn’t a nice month for riding like May or June, but it’s not a terrible month like January or February. The fact that it is a mix of the good and the bad is exactly why it is such a hassle! But without hassles nobody would appreciate the good to come. It’s really a waste of time and energy to complain. Just get on your bike and ride in March. It may be a hassle, but it is definitely worth the hassle. Enough said.
