Friday Early Afternoon Solo RUSA Ride

Friday Early Afternoon Solo RUSA Ride

The temp was pretty nice for a bike ride, but there was a pretty brutal wind. I wore a long sleeve jersey the entire ride. And I was very comfortable doing so. Today’s ride was another one that I spent a bit of time on the local tow paths. I rode the roads this time, too. There were more wet spots on the tow path than I normally like. So I did not stay on them as much as possible. Had a nice tailwind from Stockton to Trenton. So I naturally stayed on the roads then.

Nothing special to describe about this ride. Same ‘ol same ‘ol. The big deal about today was I hit 7000k of RUSA miles for the year. I’m sitting 8th overall in mileage in all of the USA. I doubt I’ll move up any higher before I stop accumulating miles this year. However, I might jump a place or two when I do the 1000k ride I’m doing on June 20?

Click on the map below to see the recording of the ride I’ve uploaded to RWGPS.
