Saturday Morning Solo Bike Ride

Saturday Morning Solo Bike Ride

Finally got out of the house this morning around 6 AM. It was another hot day for a ride. I didn’t really want to do another metric century ride. And I wasn’t up to doing one on the fixed gear in any event. Pulled the CX bike out and headed over to the 7-Eleven on Nassau St for a start. Shortly into the ride I ran into Mary F and Paul S who were doing a metric century perm ride. I tagged along with them for about 13 or 14 miles before I branched off and did my own thing. Kept my ride down to around 41 miles total. More than enough to keep me happy.

Mary and I discussed doing one of my perm rides tomorrow out of Morrisville, PA. It’ll be a 100-miler up to Easton and back. If I’m successful on that ride I’ll hit 7500 km of RUSA miles for the year. Tomorrow is supposed to not get all that hot. So it should be a good day for a somewhat long ride.
