Saturday Morning Solo Ride: 21 miles

Saturday Morning Solo Ride: 21 miles

I figured out yesterday that it was time to start riding regular again. When I got up this morning I pulled the track bike out and installed two new tires on it. The tires that had been on it were shot. And I don’t like riding old tires that are prone to get flats. The gearing was still a 60-inch fixed. And it seemed to ride pretty much the way I remembered it. The temp outside was really nice when I departed for my ride at daybreak. Not too many cars on the roads. I passed only one or two cyclists, too. My pace was OK, but the ride was short. I’ve got some training to do to get back to a reasonable fitness level. But I was riding over 15 mph for most of the ride.

Click on the map below to see the recording of the ride that I’ve uploaded to RWGPS.
