Tuesday Solo Bike Ride: 63 miles
The weather was iffy today. At least there was a threat of rain in the afternoon. So Mary chose not to ride with me today. I got a mile swim in at 5 AM. And when I got home I figured I wanted to do a new ride for me. I settled on doing the half unpaved ride that started and ended in Flemington NJ. Arrived at the point of departure around 9:30 AM with Felt CX bike in the trunk of the car. My rear wheel was missing a spoke, but seemed to function alright. The temps were in the low 50’s. So it turned out to be a nice kind of day for a ride. Not too windy. I passed 5 to 10 others out riding. So it must have been a nice day for a ride. Took me about 5 hours to complete.
Today’s ride put me over 1000 miles on the bike for the year. After my 2+ year layoff from riding I started back in the second week of March.
